Corporate Safety Overview

D.L. Poulin, Inc. is very serious about the safety of its employees and its project sites. We train each of our employees on the most current OSHA Standards. On our projects, hard hats, safety glasses, and steel toe boots are a requirement each employee and subcontractor must adhere to or be removed from the site. All employees and subcontractors must attend weekly safety meetings reviewing safety requirements pertinent to the work to be completed that week.

D.L. Poulin, Inc. employs a safety consultant to inspect the jobsite for safety violations on a weekly basis. Our consultant has the authority to take unsafe equipment out of service and remove people from the site, with the cooperation of the Superintendent, if a serious violation occurs. Once the inspection is completed, a report of deficiencies is developed and the responsible parties are notified of their deficiencies and must correct these violations within a given time period. These intensive inspections have given all site personnel a greater awareness of safety and they are willing partners in reducing accidents.

Our Experience Modification for Worker’s Compensation has dropped significantly since we incorporated our intensive safety program. D.L.
